Deep Cleaning Facial
What is the difference between a deep cleaning facial and one offered by a medical esthetician?
While facials offered by beauty salons and spas are relaxing, they do not provide the long-lasting effects of a facial performed by a medical esthetician. Medical facials penetrate deeper into the layers of skin below the epidermis, resulting in physical improvements to the skin’s surface and stimulating the reproduction of collagen needed for younger-looking and healthy skin.
How often should I have a facial?
It depends on how much value you place on your facial care routine. The optimal frequency is 4 to 6 weeks. However, if you have other facial treatments, some of the benefits overlap (collagen treatments, micro-needling, biorevitalisation) and you would not need a facial treatment so often. A deep-cleaning treatment would be recommended at least twice per year (especially before the summer sun season).
Are facials expensive?
No, they are a bargain considering you will spend approximately one to one and a half hours under the careful hands of the medical esthetician. The cost of the Deep Clean Facial is 75€. This is approximately the same price of a spa facial that does not have the long-lasting benefits.
